In recognition of the dynamic manufacturing area that is so rich in the history of Owatonna and so important to present economy, the Owatonnna Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism recognizes an industry that employs roughly 30% of the city. Osborne Wood Products of Toccoa was honored as a nominee for Manufacturer of the Year at the Awards Luncheon for Manufacturing Appreciation Week (MAW) in Georgia held at Cobb Galleria in Atlanta on April 17. Osborne was nominated by North Georgia Technical College for Manufacturer of the Year in the small-company category.
