Chamber Coffee with Congress

Congressman Tim Walz met with 30 business leaders this morning at Torey’s Restaurant in Owatonna. Walz discussed important business issues like health care costs, transportation, immigration, the Iraq War, and much more.

The event was hosted by the Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism and sponsored by Viracon.

Cybex Celebrates Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting

On September 12^th Cybex celebrated the grand opening of their new facility in the Industrial Park in Owatonna, MN.  The $15 million, 350,000 square foot building is making Cybex more competitive as they continue to increase their production of exercise equipment around the world. 

 

At the event, Cybex Chairman and CEO John Aglialoro presented on the increasingly important roles of public-private sectors working together to grow business in the U.S. 

 

Locally the Partners for Progress-City, Chamber, Utilities, Incubator, and County-worked to help assist in this companies process for growth.   Congratulations Cybex and continued success.
